The Bathing Institute and its initiatives

With the advent of indoor plumbing, bathing has taken on new meaning in modern society. The Saturday bath has been replaced by the everyday bath - but only after the 20th century and only in developed societies.

The availability, delivery, processing and treatment of water has presented new opportunities as well as challenges for manufacturers of products where water plays a major role, as well as for municipalities and the public.

The Bathing Institute's numerous initiatives include water supply conservation and preservation, personal care product safety, waste water treatment, and much more. One of the first initiatives is our stand against the privatization of water. For details see this Site.
